Just look at this collection of hieroglyphics –
or as Murph calls them, his “notes”. And thank goodness he has all those notes. As most of you know, the planning for these trips are ALL MURPH – thus the “magical mystery” reference. Honestly, I pretty much have to pack and show up — so it’s pretty much a mystery to me! And if you’re following us, you know it’s been magical!
He sat at his desk, in the living room, on the deck and at the kitchen table – booking 20 different hotels for 38 days in Denmark, England and France. He arranged 3 different cars for us along with canoes, bikes and trains. While I drove – he navigated, navigated and navigated.

This was a strange “tradition” in Rocamadour but we HAD to do it!

And occasionally I have “melt downs” when pushed to my limit. So this guy has to talk me off the ledge and bolster me up again.

  6. You have many, many wonderful adventures to remember. And thanks for taking us along on the walk, ride, bicycle, etc. It has been great to be a vicarious traveler with you!

    What an accomplishment, Murph. All the planning. And Barbara…fabulous photography.

    You both should be very proud of yourselves.

    Murphy is the star in the final episode and you deserve the Best Cinematography award for the whole trip!
